"My daughter and I have a tradition to come to Gordman's on the Saturday after Black Friday and use the 25% off sack. We had lots of fun shopping in the past. Yesterday when I was waiting over 20 minutes at the check out for the associate to validate a gift card I had was very irritating. The lovely black associate kept apologizing for the experience taking so long. When another lovely Muslim associate apologized as well I told them I knew it was not their fault and was out of their hands but 20 minutes on the phone to validate a gift card is outrageous! I was irritated but didn't take out my feelings on them. I was shocked with how the store looked. The floor was unfinished cement and much of the displays looked junky. It was hot and stuffy on a warm day. Overall it was not the pleasant experience I was hoping for."

"Gordmans always has a lovely selection particularly in houseware and home decor, in my opinion the fitting rooms need much-needed attention, I do not feel comfortable standing there in my socks, certainly never barefoot. I would never take a small child there, and I would appreciate cleaner doors and walls as a consumer. There was no attendant present in that area. I would return there to support the kind folks that work there in a competitive market, it's their livelihood. Thank you for the opportunity to express my opinion."
